Achievements

• Contributed to the enactment of RA 8485,
  The Philippine Animal Welfare Act of 1998
  
  
• Rescued literally thousands of dogs from the dog meat trade.
  
  
• Successfully prosecuted close to 100 dog meat traders.
  
  
• Closed down numerous dog meat restaurants and slaughterhouses and lobbied to have many live animal markets cease the sale of dogs.
